  1. I’m reading this a little late, but I’m glad I stopped to take a moment and process your profound words about All Saints Day and how it relates to those of us struggling to be good human beings. I do not know what part of our global blogging world you reside in, but for those of us in the US, we are struggling with anger, frustration and lack of tolerance resulting in mass shootings almost every week. Each one seems to be worse than the previous one and, I’m not alone in being unable to understand or comprehend it. I pray for these families to have strength to get through these tragic times, I pray people can find tolerance for their fellow man, and that we don’t become so fearful we all become housebound for fear of our fellow humans. Thank you for sharing these wonderful words.

You are welcome. Thank you for reading the sermon and taking time to comment. It is a very sad and tragic situation. The perpetrators of these violent crimes need to be discovered before they commit such acts of violence, and hopefully be offered the help they need to overcome their anger, hatred, etc. Prayer is certainly necessary for the victims’ families, and the support, care and love of their local churches and communities also is needed. May God’s Shalom rest upon you.
