I added a link to this blog on my blog roll. In the company of church type folks, I am usually aware that I awfully young, but at the convention I felt like I was a newborn. Other than the Anderson -Lopez newborn, I think I was often the youngest person in the room at age 25. At least at the last convention there was a youth delegation... I hope congregations take advantage of the new opportunity to bring youth delegates, but I also think the convention needs to perhaps have a special event for those younger delegates to get to know each other. The bible truly has many examples. When Dr. Goodall meantioned the seedling of the oak tree growing massive roots, it reminded me a Jesus' parable of the mustard seed. That as our faith in God grows we must also remember he has faith in us that we can make a difference in the world.
